Guess the USFS has gone P25 out there, just went thru the NTIA FOIA and wow - lots of NAC's listed for the 419.6500 uplink to the 16x input frequency
[Edited] or as CP points out, the links are P25, but the VHF Repeaters are still Analog

Bet the NAC translates

6CA = 173.8

Nope they use P25 on VHF. The system has been up for a couple of years now but had very limited use due to COVID, etc.

Gifford Pinchot NF still uses analog on the VHF repeaters, but the link thingy are P25. Same with Mt Hood and USFS Columbia Dispatch in Vancouver.

For anyone looking for a challenge... go DF 163.3 Mhz $293 and find out who the user is... they have been very busy all over King County the past week. TGID == 1, RID == 475xx

And yes they are ENC.

Appears to be just two users... 47504 and 47514. No idea who they are but still transmitting. May be a couple of naughty hams at play...

Their encryption key name is interesting... "ABC1"

Well, smokejumpers don't do night jumps. No idea otherwise.

More than likely a tactical raid on the Federal Building in Seattle. They're after a list of undercover DEA agents. Using a drump truck as the getaway vehicle.

Cutting your pills in half again?

Didn't your doctor tell you to take the whole dose every day?
