Lewis Co has their output on 625 but it's 88.5 on all three repeaters

The 155.025 I remember all to well, but the 820, not so much. I can almost picture the frequency on the display of my PRO-2006, but I can't remember what it was used for.

.820 was 'Tac-2'.
154.010??

Hint: close-by 159.210, but I know that you know...

I waited... 460.325 103.5 PL, King County Sheriff North.
Mostly Micor Mobiles, some GE Mastr-Pro mobiles and a few RCA-700's
Bases were all MSY with the TAC (Total Area Coverage ) voted receivers. Those MSY transmitters were TUBES.
And they worked for DECADES.
Anybody from around King County remember the old Crowe Road second comm center?
When I started with KCSO in the 70's we still had a VHF low license.
I kept renewing it until late '90's.
There was even a 1 kw AM broadcast station at Crowe road. (Multi-Elmac brand I think, made in Canada?)
All stuff that was Civil Defense stuff from the 50's and 60's.

HELL...You could hear those KCSO 460mhz repeaters all the way up to Vancouver BC almost every day of the week...real power houses.

with KCSO switch to 800mhz trunking.... those days are gone.

And believe it or not, they only put out about 80 watts, into old Motorola T1500 type duplexers ( probably nearly 3 dB of loss).
But we used 7/8's air feedline and 6 dB gain antennas.
Rattlesnake, Gold, Grass and Kings Garden likely would have a path to VAN.
Maybe even Squak.
Yeah, not gonna do that on 700/800.
I now believe that UHF is really the radio sweet spot for coverage Vs. penetration.
