I heard the tones with 100.0Hz PL about a minute after there was voice traffic with 127.3Hz. 1-4 beeps, a pause, and then around 10 more before it stopped.

Hearing traffic on 460.550 (not listed in Intercept Radio database that I could find). FCC database shows licensed to King County and also Washington State. Traffic heard: "David 32 to David 812 on MARS". Either the OP had the wrong frequency listed or this is a simulcast of 155.190.

Search our database for King County and you'll find it in there.

I just realized that when I searched the database originally I looked up "460.5500" and that came up as zero hits. My bad. Thanks for correcting.

A heads up, UHF MARS has a commercial co-channel user (that's at least stronger) in South King County with the same PL. Makes for frustrating monitoring.

There is no other "Commercial" or Business radio user on 460.55 Mhz. All other users of 460.55 are Public Safety Radio users. In King county - 460.55 is paird with MARS (155.19 R). Other users are Washington State Convention Center, Seattle, Pierce County and The Intercity Transit Authority - in Olympia / Thurston County. Intercity Transit is still a government agency - not a commercial user. How ever - 460.60 is used by a local Taxi Company in Seattle. Does anyone have the correct PL Tone ??

My mistake then. The chatter I always hear is nothing professional and sounds commercial users. Opens my squelch every time and I listen for the appropriate repeater transmit tone of MARS (UHF) in order to unmute. Could be the taxis but the users don't sound like it.

It is most likely the Intercity Transit operations. It could sure sound like a commercial operation for sure. And I am almost sure that they use the same PL tone.

155.6175 just came active with a 173.8 tone....No idea who or where; they're not talking much.

WSP in Pierce County has been yakking on OSCR for a few months now, late at night.

That's bleed-over from 155.61, PierceCo SO East Tac. Even on "NFM" the scanner still locks onto adjacent channels.

OSCCR has been quite active all the way to Port Angeles lately.... Not totally sure where Im hearing it from as I never hear loacations other than an occasional road name. But from 101 in Clallam I can hear the troops on car 4 from Snohomish north quite well so I believe its from there.

Dang, fumble-fingered the keyboard and lost my reply...

Anyhow, was saying I'm not sure it is, so much. Whoever was on it was simplex, using first names, and looking for a location in downtown Puyallup. I don't recall seeing the simplex-on-output in any of the PCSD radios I've seen/used, though the tone matches. The previous traffic (back on page 2) was a M and F looking for someone at the Cafe Arizona* in Federal Way.

*I think that's where they were, based on address and traffic.

I've heard E Tac as simplex and repeated, but I haven't played with their radios to know how they select it. Haven't listened recently. Will ask at next chance.

461.0250 digital (not P25), I-90 at Eastgate.

I show the frequency as Swedish Hospital, NoSea CC, and several business repeaters. Started hearing this late last year.

What about Sumner on 155.625? That would be the next step up from .6175.
