State Patrol was in pursuit of a vehicle and pitted the car at 164th. They have a suspect in custody. Not sure if its related to the officer safety information about maurice minutes earlier.

Seattle PD have a house surrounded and they do believe they have this "Maurice" "person of interest inside. Seattle PD Tac-1 and Seattle PD East Tac have all had comms on this incident going on now. KIRO 7 reported at 11 that a woman claims she dropped him off at this house and he was armed and bleeding. Also a broadcast just went out for a subject in a vehicle believed to be trying to pick him up at that house. House is surrounded by SWAT and PD and blocks closed down in area. Also a Metro bus has been brought in to evacuate neighbors and people in the neighborhood.

I'm sitting on the other side of the state listening to KIRO's scanner feed. Ain't the internet cool! They are staging medics, ordering coffiee & radio battries. Sounds like they are in for the long haul tonite.

My guess is they are in no hurry to go in that house, hes already been wounded. Just let him bleed out, go in a few hours (say 8-12 whats the rush? :beer: ). He'll be dead, and case closed :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

last I heard they were searching for a Black Male in a Gray Hoodie with a limp near I-90 and I-5 in the Jungle and now there are reports of a suspect with the same description near the Metro bus garage in SODO.

Why didn't the operator call in when the guy boarded? It was probably a 25 or 43 and the guy got on downtown where you board at all doors.

Callen Park in the Ravenna neighborhood just north of the U district. According to KIRO Radio, they are tracking a blood trail.

I was (un)lucky enough to hear the initial dispatch and response while driving south. They did a great job making an organized, quick, and effective response. They got the pertinent info sorted out and broadcast surprisingly soon, and were looking for this guy in short order. Real pros to be able to do all that after hearing "four officers down".
