Nah the 60108 channel is up too high.

60111 is active today. Male/female yakk'ing about their trucks -- I presume they're having a hard time driving in the snow. No idea where they are though. She made references to 'camp' but doesn't ring any bells for me...

Ouch a unit just reported (on 60102) a multi-vehicle collision accident somewhere southbound I-5. I didn't catch the cross-street.

per the redacted talkgroup list that that guy that used to show his face around here once in a while obtained, they totally had a pattern when they designed the statewide WSDOT fleet map. When you take the redacted talkgroup list and start plugging in active talkgroup ID’s, listen for a while to see how the talkgroup is used you can match talkgroup id’s to names. I have run Pro96com and recorded tons of traffic in SWR and identified nearly all their talkgroup by this method, and if you used the same pattern of names and just changed the third digit to the appropriate region, voila!

After going through a trove of documents for the WSDOT license WPTZ781, it appears that there is additional frequencies being added to sites and maybe additional sites since the documents indicate expansion with WAEMD through 2026.

Two in particular:

VA Seattle: 774.03125, 774.28125, 774.53125, 774.78125, 769.21875, 769.46875
Pierce County: 773.05625, 773.30625, 773.55625, 773.80625, 774.54375, 774.79375 for 2 sites (Indian Hill and Tacoma DO) which make me think a Simulcast for Tacoma.

The document I am using is in the attachments area of the license.

https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/Applic ... =13770299#

Anyone want to take a listen and see if and what they may hear?

Thanks.

Old news. This references the WSP 700 Trunk. There are no new neighbors to Site 73 (the simulcast WSDOT.)

OK. Thanks.

Wasn't sure if they were adding or not. Didn't seem right in the middle of the current simulcast area. I am down in the Portland area, so I can't hear it from here.

Thanks Nick, I haven't gone looking for 700 P25 simplex down south, but need to. I have heard the usual 800 simplex channels still since they switched, but assumed they had more. Are they referring to the channels by the proper name below or are you just hearing action on those freqs you know is WSDOT?

Per RR it looks like Okanogan Co SO is using WSDOT's trunk now for their LE/Fire/Event channels.

Through the grapevine they were going to add a few sites and add more channels to WSDOT system and switch over to their system.
Looks like someone did a talkgroup dump on the system in the last week as well. Not me

SW Region had some radio techs doing some tests on groups 60072 and 60073. Based on how the groupings are laid out, those should be some of the statewide groups. And of course, they didn't identify what group they were testing on.

There were a couple of folks talking on 60996 and 60997 in South Central region in June when I was up there. Those folks went from Prosser to the Tri Cities and were talking on the radio coverage. Those groups with I wondering if they are part of their test groups.

60130. At least I think it was. "Newhalem" signing in. I happened to be monitoring Rattlesnake, so it's possible to be affiliated elsewhere
