Also from today:

468.2875 (D516) Ikea in Renton, security.

462.2125 (D114) WinCo in Sumner, Locution-style voice paging for management ("Available PIC to checkstand 16")

153.305 (136.5) REI Warehouse in Sumner, operations

464.5875 (114.8 ) Possibly security at the Auburn Supermall? Shared freq with an LTR or telemetry system, kind of annoying.

South Hill Mall in Puyallup again today. No one got punched, I took a radio and sulked in the car:

464.550 (D431) Mall security and Puyallup PD off-duty units

461.6625 (100.0) Some sort of automated customer service thing "Carly has acknowledged", and chat about someone's roommate who was working down on 2.

467.850 (67.0) Some store, maybe Office Max

464.500 (67.0) Another store, no idea who, but they have foul mouths.

154.570 (67.0) Toys-R-Us

Also:

463.525 (127.3) Possibly Northwest Cascade, Flohawks division (plumbing stuff)

451.600 (118.8 ) Possibly Simpson Timber Kraft at Port of Tacoma...Couplings coming loose, need another __ gallons of acid, what size was that conduit, etc.

453.3375 (179.9) Kent Meridian High School operations repeater. They're also licensed on 453.7875; nothing heard there.

Also, the oil spill repeater was active this morning on 454.000 (103.5); called "Channel 12". Doing coverage testing.

Crystal Mountain today.

After falling spectacularly several times, then finally getting to the lifts, I skied for awhile, then listened:

152.420 (225.7) Ski Patrol repeater

157.680 (225.7) Input to Ski Patrol repeater

159.765 (250.3) General operations- Plows, parking, guest services, security

159.975 (79.7) Lift operations

159.765 (225.7) Instructors/ski school

159.765 (131.8 ) Called Ch-07; chat for Ski Patrol

462.700 (107.2) Maybe some sort of ski school? Volunteer ski patrol? They mostly called out what runs they were on. Repeated on GMRS freq.

451.450 (100.0) Private ski school

155.160 (100.0) came up, but as it turns out, this is White Pass Ski Patrol (elevation is your friend!)

Looks like they're reusing one freq with multiple tones. I hate that.

I also caught 160.125 (88.5) repeated, but it turned out to be Cascade Towing, with a repeater on Grass Mtn.

461.500 (141.3)- Called channel 1. Obviously, channel 2 is simplex on the output of the repeater. One guy was trying to talk to someone, mentioned they'd been on 2, but she hadn't made the switch back to 1. He could hear her in simplex though. She was confused about the "new radios".

464.5875 (114.8 )- Repeated, Supermall in Auburn security. Interestingly, sometimes the tone came up, sometimes not. Tone only seemed to be on while two units were talking back and forth. No tone present when one was talking with the dispatcher. Further research needed.

463.5375 (67.0)- Supermall...Engineering? There was a water leak in the roof of "Perfume Mania", and one guy said he'd get to it after his lunch. Lovely...

152.930 (162.2) Puyallup Schools repeater at Edgemont Junior High (159.780 in)

152.465 (118.8 ) Puyallup Schools repeater, think it was maintenance (157.725 in)

151.5875 (D243) Puyallup Schools repeater, heard what sounded like high school traffic (159.5625 in)

463.9625 (173.8 ) Supermall, repeated. Unknown traffic.

464.825 (123.0) Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, security.

467.875 (100.0) Some store at the Supermall.

Just got home from spending ALL damn day working in Thurston County, with TCSO and some other people. 155.550 is still TAC-1, and I'd assume it's still 88.5, but I only had access to my Moneyrola...Couldn't remember the freq for TAC-5 to program in and see if it was still 154.800, but it saw some heavy use as well.

Posting here so as to not disrupt the conversation going on in the Mystery thread...

464.55 (189.9) (Yes, that's the "yellow dot" frequency) Some sort of car dealership in Auburn. Lots of cars being moved around. I could only hear the dispatcher and not the mobiles. Mentions of a car wash and loaner cars. Cars were all referred to by four digit numbers, and drivers by their first names.

I'm going to call this Doxon Toyota on Auburn Way--I know they have portables and I've heard two different makes of Toyotas.

Went to the prestigious Yakama (notice the spelling) Nation Legend's casino tonight with the future in-laws and the other half. I was non-chalantly leaning up against the wall tuning in a DCS tone when Grandma Moses security guard walked over and asked if that was a pocket knife clipped to my pocket. I replied Yes and she replied, "Well I'm going to have to ask you to leave and take the knife to your car before you can come back into the facility." Soon, that little clip will belong on something else. (see my eBay history) Good thing she didn't find out what else I had otherwise she probably would have had to use her mace or call for back-up which would have been fine because it would have allowed me to log the frequency.

Anyways, I was able to snag:

465.9375 (D036) Floor Attendants. Just about every machine in that damn casino was messing up in one way or another.

469.1125 (D172)

469.2875 (D122)

467.925 (67.0) Beverage Carts

464.500 Buffet Staff

It really bothers me that I wasn't able to get the Security Freq. There was a billion people there and a 7/8th's of them were staff members and just about every one of them had a TK-3170. One hell of a radio for what they are using them for.
It also bothers me that I can't find the FCC license for them. The only thing I can find is: http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/license.jsp?licKey=1691550 He is a Kenwood dealer...

I've got to come up with a better logging/recording system rather than clipping the radio on the inside of my coat and pulling one half of the coat open and pushing the backlight button everytime I hear some noise out of it.
