Tac 30 uses Guardian 2 for a lot of things.

Does anyone know if King County had 2 copters patrolling tonight? Heard Guardian 1 asking Guardian 3 there location on MARS and then heard the Southwest Dispatcher asking units if they needed either Guardian 1 or 3 in the SeaTac area.

I dunno if they still do it, but when there's more than one up, they used to chat on 153.755 (123.0), the old KCSO Spec Ops F-3.

King County has 4 helicopters in the Air Support Division, they have 2 OH-58 Kiowas, 1 UH-1 Huey and a Jet Ranger.

On Page 1 of this thread is a picture of Guardian 1 (OH-58 Kiowa), on Page 2 there is a picture of Guardian 2 (UH-1 Huey) and in the background on the left side is Guardian 3 (OH-58 Kiowa) and located by the tail rotor is Guardian 4 (Jet Ranger) which is blue in color.

Guardian 1 and 3 both have FLIR and Nightsun systems to be used on regular patrol. Guardian 2 is used for SAR and Special Operations while Guardian 4 (Blue Jet Ranger) is used for training and Special Operations (Undercover flights).
