Anybody willing to say whether site 14 (Seattle backup) is ever going to show again as a separate site?

I vaguely remember this happening once when there was a massive power outage. I think it was that snow-event in December 2008?

It only happens for planned maintenance, testing or serious problems with the four site simulcast.

EPSCA Simulcast began rebanding today. It's supposed to go on for the next few days.

At least, it was supposed to start today......

Last night they started using lower frequencies (some previously Seattle), but still using the old channel numbers (tracked w/o changing the scanner bandplan). Maybe when the controller switches tomorrow morning?

What freq is the primary control channel now?

Last I checked, 851.4375 (see database). I wouldn't be surprised to see more shuffling, they hadn't vacated all the high frequencies last time I looked.

Using only 851.4375 and 859.4125 upper on a BC346XTC, radio is no longer looking for control channel, but still not scanning or locking on IDs, I get a list of frequencies in the trunk freq tab that does not 100% match anything published or updated so far.

This specific Uniden model would never take the Uniden 1.05 firmware update for the standard 346XT model. Sounded as if this series was not 100% compatible with P2 and rebanding..

So for now I will keep making small adjustments to the band plan, see if freescan is part of band plan upload or contention errors, and wait to see if the rebanding settles in on a final table. Might lose use of 2 working receivers from this change.

I uploaded my P500 file that I'm using to the WIKI, and so far I'm hearing everything with the custom reband plan data in King County.
