So let me beg - does anyone have a good Snoh County database file? I'm on a Uniden 996XT using Freescan.

And heck, while I have King County wired, I imagine I'll encounter the same problems in counties all over WA state (though non-trunked counties, the majority) shouldn't be too bad.

I'm begging! :)

All Washington counties are already here in a Freescan file you can upload:

http://www.interceptradio.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4841

Open the file and check the counties you want to upload to your scanner. It would probably be a good idea to assign some quick-keys (or bank keys or whatever) to the areas you select.

Thank you.

I actually did look at this file, but found that it was pretty lacking for the core Western Washington Counties that I frequent and operate in most often. I don't doubt it would provide constant chatter as you traverse areas, but I found it didn't let me parse locales very well, and a TON of really critical talk groups are missing.

I expect I will use this file for more peripheral regions, particularly Oregon and California when I'm just in "easy listening" mode, wouldn't never find the time to research and program more precisely, and where I don't have a professional/vocational need to really isolate specific incidents.

I'm not complaining. Many thanks to all who contributed to it - and I'm sure I will use parts of it - I just need more precision and comprehensiveness close to home.

Thanks

In addition to my two requests for locations above, older records show other simulcasts. Anyone have any info they can share?

Your initial question was about SERS sites and frequencies and you will find them it that file. For that matter it also includes some fairly detailed GPS scanning boundaries for both the sites and talkgroups. Given the detail involved it is far from "lacking".

Apologies. I didn't mean to offend. It's a super-valuable file. Like I said, I just found that there were a lot of talk groups missing and a lot of obsolete talk groups in King County.

Thanks, I've got King County pretty wired and set up just the way I want it, using Intercept Radio as well as some other info from "that other other website".

The issue I was getting hung up on in Shoh County was trying to put in ALL the sites, rather than just the key remote sites and then just using the simulcasts (as I am in King County) for a GPS-enabled system. I was making life too hard on myself.
