Who are the "ocean" units i hear? I have found some partial lists on SO and PD unit identifiers. Does anyone have a quick reference guide?

Been a LONG time since I used to listen to that area but I THINK it's Mukilteo PD.

Been a LONG time since I used to listen to that area but I THINK it's Mukilteo PD.


Mukilteo PD is no longer dispatched by SNOPAC, they are SNOCOM... I dont know what they call the Muk units there, but they used to be numbers when Snopac had them.

Anyway,

"O" units designate Special Patrol, Proactive, or Off Duty units.

so for example 51O50 = Off Duty unit, South County Night Shift.

Im pretty sure I confirmed 30 Ocean 30 as the Contracted Deputy who covers the US Forestry areas in the county.

Does anybody have any other info regarding the SCSO numbering system. I have been trying to make sense of it for months and cant make sense of it.

Is the first number the precinct they work out of?
