Hey all new scanner dude here. just bought a pro-97. it spent the last few days at RS in lynnwood getting the trunking worked out. I know nothing about how all of this works. I dont think i am getting all of the talk groups to work. Or should i say I dont know how they should work. also i have no WSP channels at all. I have been pulling my hair out here for a few days. Could someone please come down here and give me a hand? I would be willing to pay you for your time. I would just like to be able to switch banks on and off as i wish so i can listen to whats needed and not everything else. I am very electronics challenged. If you could help it would be much appriciated. and my wife wont worry so much every time i head for the garage. I am in north Everett

rejected. so here is the note

thank you
for the link. I have figured a little of this out. but im still having
some trouble with the everett police trunking system. im not surebut it
seems sometimes the radio is non stop and others it totally quiet. my
best friend is an everett officer. and he says alot of the calls come
across on the computer. so he says sometimes it is quiet. im also trying
to figure out channels for wsp and fire. in my zone. i own a towing
company in everett and like to know when my drivers have been dispached.
where would i find the freq? i know alot of questions but hey its just me.

Have you seen this page on Northwest Radio web site?
http://interceptradio.com/ Click on Snohomish County. In brief, you will find the Everett fire on both the trunk system and also the old VHF freq of 154.385. WSP repeater is on 155.655 and car-to-car is on 154.935 The WSP freqs are also on the frequency page above.
