hi all
I Just Spent 3 days in Mt Rairier Nat Park
and I Monitered Their Comms Here's Some info for you

1 171.775 ch 1 Park Rangers & Search & Rescue (The Repeater is on The West Side of The Mtn but can be Heard all over)
2 172.625 ch ? Seams to be Used by Road Maint Crews
3 172.450 ch 4 law Enforcement ( Patrol numbers are 760 - 770
4 167.125 ch ? I Think This is Used at The Camp Grounds I Heard Very Little on This but What I Did Hear Sounded Like Camp Ground Related Stuff,
5 167.150 Heard Something but not Sure What I Heard.
6 164.475 Data Burst ??
7 164.990 Data Burst ??
8 171.575 Heard Comms on This ch but not Sure Who or What Ch This is
9 406.250 This is Sopossed to be for The Lookout Towers ( I saw this Freq Posted Next to one of Their Base Stations Along With 173.800 & 163.075

Also Paradise Lodge ID no is 649,
The Lookouts are no Longer Staffed, :(

I punched 171.775 into my r7000. Its pretty busy.
Fyi its crowded up there too! The campgrounds are full.

I Went up on Monday and Left on Thursday it Wasn't Crowded Then. The Park Ranger at Couger Rock CG Told me it gets Crowded Around The 4th and There After Till Early Oct,

I heard them responding to a report of campers with thier dog off the leash.
Hikers being turned off trails because they didnt have a permit.
What heros!

I guess I wont bother camping up there.

Ahh Dog off The Leash That'd be one of my Dogs Seems When we Went to National Park in for Dinner my Little Dog Pulled his Chain Loose and was Running Around The Camp ground With an 8ft Chain for 2 hrs The Ranger put him Back in the Camp and Then Told me NOT to Leave Them unatended Again or I'll be Ticketed :evil: ,
