Location: Okanogan WA
Okanogan County Sheriff's Office has accepted the recommendation from Adcomm to Partner with WSDOT to use their new P25 System. One of the reasons was that staying on the VHF Band is not realistically possible. OCSO has recieved a license for one site in the Okanogan & Omak area. More information can be found on Okanogan County Sheriff's Office website.

Okanogan County has its share of terrestrial challenges. It will be interesting to see how many sites will be added to provide acceptable coverage.
