Anybody have any info on Puyallup's new trunked system? Yesterday it sounded like their FD mobile units were on trunked radios that were being simulcasted on 154.265.
Well, on the PD side of things, no one has a trunked radio (except some task force guys who work with Tacoma), and no one knows when they're going to get one.
The dispatch people say it's going to be active in a few months, once the towers are built.
None of the freqs are active yet, despite being licensed for years now.
I don't know if fire is getting Tacoma radios, but it's not the mythical talked-about-but-not-built-yet Puyallup TRS (which will include Bonney Lake PD and FD when it begins).
