I am looking for what frquency the washington state fish and game uses.Any help would be appreciated

They are dispatched on the WSP "area" frequency. Meaning if you are say in Mt. Vernon they are on the WSP Mt. Vernon air.

They are "Wildlife XXX".

When being dispatched it would sound like, "Mt. Vernon local wildlife patrols yada yada yada."

I see that you are in E WA, depending on the location, you will hear them on local car to car channels with deputies and city officers.

In eastern WA, fish & game use the DNR freqs, 159.XXX

Here in Moses Lake They use 155.505 "NOT DNR"

Sounds to me by the user name you could be up tp no good. Unless you are a contract hunter for WDFW it is illegal to use hounds to hunt for any thing other than racoons in this state. If you are a contract hunter for WDFW then I am sure your regional office would be more than happy to give you the correct frequencies to monitor. I just don't see why you would want or need to.

:roll: I guess if thats how we think then for everybody whom listens to police and fire are up TO NO GOOD! :idea:

Like the regional office would even know the specific freqs much less how they are assigned in the radios.(if asking for that kind of info was that easy, boards like this wouldn't have to be created) Maybe a better way to handle it next time is to send a private msg to him,to see how one responds, if at all, rather than create an open "you sound supicious to me"...thread :wink:

I have seen several requests and replys to this same question. My radio shop has worked on some of the F&G radios in the past. All of the replys are correct. They use the state radio systems, either WSP or DNR. 99% of the F&G radio traffic is to run a subject that they have stopped. If you are asking for a "Stakeout" or car to car channel - its called "Cellphones". Since "9-11" and the war, people may tend to get a little rude or discerning. But most of us like our friends that live in the woods and swim in the rivers and waters of the great state of Washington. There is no "F&G" channel to listen to. Sorry if you don't like the answer. Thats move on to a new topic.
