I have noticed something oddhere. I am programming my BC780xlt. I am working on the King Co stuff. what I have so far is scratchy. all the comms seem scratchy. I have the freqs in for the EPSCA site and its in "search" or "open" mode and all the king co stuff is coming in very crisp and clear. is it just the set of freqs I am using for King Co? maybe the wrong ones? I have 23 of them in. I guess I can use the EPSCA site freqs for the King co stuff and just program all the King co TG ID's using the EPSCA main site freqs. This makes sense if I'm getting better reception. Any ideas/suggestions thanks. I'm in Woodinville.

You are close to a EPSCA tower that is why you are picking those over King County. It could be a eye of site. Valley Com, Seattle, EPSCA, and King County are the same system but are three sub systems that is King County/ Valley Com, Seattle, and then the EPSCA. I live in Renton four blocks from the King County Com Center and the shops so my scanner takes the King County control channel over the Seattle control channel because King County is stronger.
