Does anyone know why the site (853.175) has such a terrible signal? It used to be fairly strong into Bellevue but now it's much weaker. So much so that I can't often receive it while on a portable. From my location it now sounds like there's interference on a nearby frequency and/or it's heavily multi-path'd.

Did the site move from the Columbia Tower by chance? :(

Ive noticed that when outside of seattle I catch Seattle Police broadcasting on other tower sites, Does that work inside Seattle too, or you have to be closer to another tower to see that

This freq is a simulcast on four sites; Columbia Tower, Myrtle Reservoir, Capitol Hill and Maple Leaf. The transmitter shack at Maple Leaf is getting replaced. All the antennas are still intact but they're running the transmitters out of a portable. It's possible they're powering down and that's affecting your signal.



When I first saw the building under construction I thought it was a place to go whizz due to its proximity to the park. Turns out it's a place for Wiz to go.

If Wiz isn't living on a boat or running a bar right now I'd be very depressed.
