For Snohomish County, I see there is Snohomish S.O. and that there si also Snocom PD cities. as Lynnwood, Marysville, Edmonds/Woodway etc. Also I see there is a Snocom PD dispatch. I would imagine that the cities PD protect the individual cities and use the Snocom Dipatch? and I can understand the S.O. but what is Snocom PD? and how does the dispatching work?. Thank you...

SnoCom is a dispatch center that dispatches for the cities and fire district in the SW portion of Snohomish County. That includes Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace, Woodway, Brier, Mill Creek and Mukilteo.

SnoPac is the dispatch center that dispatches for all other cities in the county and for the Sheriff's Office.

The switch to 800 Mhz included agencies from both SnoCom and SnoPac which may have further confused the talkgroup/frequency listings. The rest of Snohomish county "should" be on 800 before the end of this year.
