Did anyone hear any radio traffic about a fire in Auburn either today or yesterday. I saw the burned out home and what looked like a pretty intense investigation.

If this is the house on "M" Street than this happened on Sunday afternoon and destroyed the house, the attached garage and a Ford Tarus that was in the driveway.
Unknown what caused the fire but Auburn asked for assistance from Mountain View Fire (Engine 91) and Pacific Fire (Engine 381) with South King Fire (Engines 64 and 65) covering the city nof Auburn.

Do you know where on M Street? I wonder why South King County covered Auburn. Usually it is Kent 71 for Station 31 and Lake Tapps if Pacific isn't available to cover Station 32. For that matter Kent 71 usually follows Mountain View for mutual aid into Auburn city limits.
Anyone have an idea?

It was on the 2700 block of M St. S.E. If the call is in South Auburn Pacific usually responds mutual aid.

A thought I just had. Maybe Auburn has a rotating schedule so that all surrounding departments have a chance to respond to assist whether it being directly to the call or staffing their stations.

These are the departments I can think of that I have heard assist Auburn.

East Pierce Fire and Rescue(Lake Tapps, Bonney Lake, Prairie Ridge)
South King Fire and Rescue(Federal Way, Des Moines)
Mountain View Fire and Rescue
Kent Fire and Life Safety
Enumclaw Fire Department
Edgewood Fire Department
Sumner Fire Department

I am sure there are more but these are the usual ones.
