listening to Seattle area WSP and the dispatcher asked if it's a "DBM or a DBM with a gun?" the unit responded "DBM with a gun"

what's DBM?

it wasn't used phonetically... so i might be confused with something simular sounding.

it sounded like "dee bee emm"

Could it have been A DVM/ domestic violence with a male or could it have been a domestic violence with a black male, with a gun

Could be GVM - Green Vegetable Matter, another term for marijuana.

I have a dream once in a while where green vegetable matter are chasing me AND they are carrying guns...so it could possibly be GVM with a gun.

Well, depending on the context of the conversation, the troop could have been advising that there GVM with a gun, indicating the dealing of drugs not just possession.
