Snohomish County requesting use of 453.35 R with King, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom and Island Counties. Inter-connected MARS ??? All counties NORTH of Everett are still on UHF (Except Bellingham City).

King County stopped using 453.350 quite some time ago. UHF MARS will be on 460.550 only. SERS is using an available UHF pair. Just so happens, that it was King Counties old pair.

does this mean that 453.35 is a shared frequency, similar to learn and mars, but shared by snohomish, skagit and island county?

I think SERS was going to have a VHF pair, UHF pair and a talkgroup patched just like KC MARS. I think they even call it SC or SNO MARS.
