Hi all -

I have an rs pro 2052 dual trunking scanner. i live in marysville, and have it set up for the snocom trunk. a question: it's a dual trunking scanner; does that mean i can have 2 trunked systems set up on different banks and in turn, give one higher priority than the other? also, as i live in an apartment complex and have my antenna indoors, is there another trunked system i'd be able to pick up here? was thinking the boeing trunked system might be a possibility and intresting to listen to. also, does anyone have the snohomish PUD's trunked freq's? thought it'd be real cool to be able to listen to that stuff as i did last year when it got really windy weatherwise around here.

"Dual Trunking" means it will trunk track and scan conventional freqs. at the same time.Yes you can put diff. systems in the banks but I dont know about assigning higher priority to one or another.

ah okay - so i can trunk and also do scanning - i get it. just heard dogs barking out front of our apartments - my in laws just left and it sounded kinda freaky - turned out to be a police canine unit looking for a loud party! wasn't loud here but i spose i shouldve asked em for info on how their names work - i hear all sorts of names on the scanner - wouldve liked to have been able to correlate who was who and get their autographs i spose! was wearing a big afro wig too - told em it wasnt real haha!
