That's the highest ranking K9 I have ever heard of.

Here's the fire response log 4/3/2009 7:57:58 PM. This is a good find, it looks like a Seattle unit going to investigate a fire in Burien.
I have never seen a Marshal SUV drive past that was marked K9 drive by downtown, but I'll keep my eyes open.

Probably an Arson Dog. FIU sounds like Fire Investigation Unit? I know the ATF has dogs that sniff out accelerants, SFD might've gotten one.

Burien Fire and King County Fire Marshals office requested Seattle's dog to the scene of the suspected arson fire at 15600 1st Ave S.

One of Burien Fire's command officers use to have a dog that was used around the county and by ATF but was recently retired. The dog was believed to be the first in the northwest.

Seattle Fire K9 (Henny) and handler do not have a marked SUV to ride around in. The type of vehicle being used is a new Silver Jeep Cherokee and this dog is used by many depts. and the ATF. Henny has even been used by Pierce County (Graham Fire) to determin the cause of a fire in which 3 children died in.

Yakima also has an arson sniffing dog. Call sign is "Marshal 3-91 and Partner." Wesley is his name.
