Commencement communications! Very chatty as expected. Sounds like they're not entirely happy with digital radio! (A lot of repeats!) :)

452.7 is also one of the TRBOWest channels on Capitol; I bet you can pick that up from your QTH as well.

452.65 I've seen but haven't pegged its users; CC1 with TG1 on both slots; mostly everyone is RID 1 with 4062450 popping occasionally. Looks a bit higher than the range you're seeing.

Yes, Tim, I'm getting the TRBOWEST channel at times too but fortunately, it's not very active.

I don't know what's going on with this system. I'm almost thinking each frequency is a separate system despite the same TGID and RIDs. The funny thing is that I'm hearing multiple voices on the same RID. Whomever designed this system should be shot -- it's very confusing to monitor. My gut says these are all separate systems -- and they're not connected.

i.e. basically someone set them up to be analog-like using a repeater, the same RID and TGID.

It also doesn't make much sense why certain frequencies are weaker than others. I guess the repeater antennas could be directional?

That wouldn't surprise me at all; UW's Transportation Services and Campus Engineering & Operations each have a freq (simulcast) and use two slots on each. But they both have all talkgroups programmed in to one radio. Makes writing the template a lot easier even though they probably don't ever need to talk to each other.Or became directional based on how they got mounted at the stadium?

Yep that's what I was thinking. Someone made a generic template and didn't bother making specifics. They could program each radio with the same template but use different channels for the frequencies.

It'd be funny if UW-Husky Stadium was using the TYT MD-380 as their portable radio! xD
