There was a lot of traffic on here tonight, half encrypted, half clear. Seems to be a repeated car-to-car channel.

154.415- Stark County Fire (r), missed the PL

154.010 (192.8 ) Input to 154.415

154.725 (162.2) Dickinson Fire (r)

158.820 Input to 154.725, missed the PL

154.100 (D023) Public Transit, Dunn and Stark County areas. Caught this one originally with a 173.8 tone, thinking now that may be erroneous.

Unlicensed Moto 800 system? Found this one last night with my new, spiffy outdoor antenna. More to come when I get back from the road trip.

Finally caught some traffic on that system, talkgroup 44208, possibly a trucking company.

44240 came up on Trunk88 when I wasn't looking.
This seems to be a 2-freq trunked system, and radio ID's aren't broadcast...?

Interestingly, 159.090 (Dunn County SO) is also used to dispatch Killdeer-area ambulance and rural volunteer firefighters within Dunn County.

I'd almost forgotten how small towns did it...

Re: that mystery trunked system-

As far as I can tell, this was an SMR that was bought by Nextel, which apparently did what they're known for, and started turning off repeaters, so now it's just a 2 freq system, thereby enticing radio users to switch to Nextel/Sprint PTT gear.

So far, I've only found:

44176- trucking company
44208- trucking company
44240- trucking company?

Very little traffic.
