As many of you have heard by now, MFJ is ceasing its on-site production in Starkville, Mississippi on May 17, 2024. This is also the same for our sister companies’ Ameritron, Hygain, Cushcraft, Mirage and Vectronics.

I guess now we'll have to come up with acronyms for all of the other radio equipment manufactures.

I have cushcraft antennas, one is the R8 an HF vertical with every band from 40 to 6.
I need to re assemble it and start using it again as I have plenty of HF radios to run on it.
It got wacked in a windstorm, but I did get replacement parts from them last year for the bent parts..
Also have a small manual antenna tuner and it works well.
The low cost chinese made amateur equipment works well at least the ones I have, maybe that was the problem.
I have had the japenese equipment the longest and most all still work or were repairable and have excellet docs to fix them with.
