SERS tgid 5456.

Command is Edmonds "Marina Command". Shoreline Fire and USCG cutters and helo also enroute. Appears to be off Point Wells.

ETA: parasailer "in distress".

Turned out to be a kiteboarder who has been contacted and is not/was not in distress. Thank the Helpful Citizens Brigade.

Heard this on marine VHF as well. Walla Walla WSF was looking as well. Seemed to be inexperienced operators of Marine 16 boat from Snohomish- couldn't read off coordinates properly.

I was hearing them on South Lake Union (USCG/WSF/and the Snohomish boat)

I could only hear one side on VHF 22, but the gist of it sounded like USCG talking to a fire boat.

Marine 16 was the boat that first made contact with the kite surfer.

Walla Walla, USCG 45', USCG helo were the other resources I dispatched. Didn't hear The 45' but I did hear the helicopter confirm that no assistance was needed. Made for some entertainment while I was tinkering.
