I have a friend who is still active duty and goes a lot of places, often on short notice, to do things. I felt fairly confident as he does comms, so I sent him along with a TRX-1 on a weeklong sojourn to Camp McCain, MS (though his hotel was an hour south). This, being a first attempt, didn't go so well (See the SE forum). I plan to make this a thread as he and this radio travel. 6/3/25-6/8/25- Attala County, MS 6/17/25-6/19/25- Tupelo, MS |

New codeplug written for a 5-day trip to Tupelo, MS (ANG training at the airport there) this coming week. |

It came back early (last night). A cursory glance showed a bit under 1100 recordings; will parse tonight. Next week it's going to the Army Corps of Engineers offices in Vicksburg, MS, hopefully for the whole 5 days. |

New mission for the Travelling TRX. It went to Vicksburg this morning and was supposed to be there until Sunday; it came back this afternoon due to an unanticipated scheduling conflict. It leaves next Wednesday (again) for five WHOLE days at the USACE Offices in Vicksburg, immediately followed by another 5-day mission to an undisclosed location in North Mississippi. (thankfully this will give me a little bit of programming time as the codeplug I'd banged out was suboptimal) |
