I just put together a complete XG-100M package for my vehicle - all bands enabled - including TDMA and P25T for right at $500. What's an APX8500 running these days? $5K? True NAS - no affiliation - no need for hidden TGs and scan lists. Oh, and lowband RX. Hoping for some skip from CHP :-p It took nearly a decade for Motorola to figure out an all-band radio. The XG-100M was being discontinued before the APX8500 was even launched. |

Takes a bit to get used to the system/group and custom zones instead of zone/channel assignment but it's a pretty easy transition. Wouldn't be spending hundreds on a radio if I didn't have a roof over my head. heh. I figured I needed an XG-100M to match my XG-100P. |
