Cool!!
Sad part about the SDS100 from Uniden is that it takes an ultra specific battery...sigh. Freaking uni-dent.

It says 3.7v - standard li-on, only need to gut the stock one then add contacts for 18650 or 14500 li-ion. Can't be that hard

Cool product, probably a 3.7v with some sort of built in buck converter. It would be interesting to scope the DC output for cleanliness. Either way the capacity is astounding. My only beef with Li-Io and LiFePO4 is putting them on the shelf too long and having them self-discharge themselves to death. Don't have that problem with Eneloops.

IT SAYS " This rechargeable aa lithium battery only takes 2 hours to be fully charged,Hixon 1.5V AA rechargeable batteries, much faster than traditional Ni-MH rechargeable batteries which need 8 hours to be fully charged." "Hixon Rechargeable AA Batteries with Charger, 3500mWh AA Rechargeable Batteries,1.5V Constant Output,1600 Cycles Rechargeable Lithium AA Batteries,Max 3A Current, for Home&Office"

They are 1.5 V 3500mWh.

Watch the little video on the page.

I use the Eneloop Pro and they have held up over the years.

The SDS100 battery is the worst piece of contraptive electronic ive ever seen.
I buy $649 worth of RF scanner...which should expectedly get at least 8-12 hours of battery life or more on a single charge. NOPE. Absolutely NOT.
The thing barely lasts an *hour* before recharge when you are listening to NFM, based off the past uses ive had with it. It doesnt matter which fancy graphical colors you may have, it just doesnt fit.

Another couple things to add to the table here: Why in the FUCK would that model need a SPECIFIC battery for....All other scanners take any form of AA AAA or 9v. Unbelievably stupid.
FInally, an *8 HOUR WAIT TIME* till that proprietary battery is full....what a waste of Uniden honestly...
