From MilComm 1624Z 11175 SAM143 repeatedly calling MAINSAIL with no response and then repeatedly calling "Pentagon" with no response. Doubt they are listening! Maybe trying shake up MAINSAIL who doesn't seem to be responding to anyone this morning. |

Actually he's probably attempting to reach the Pentagon MARS station. If it is actively staffed then someone could have been monitoring that frequency. This happens all the time with a/c coming in over the north pacific. I can hear them S9+ here locally but HF-GCS cannot seem to receive them. Just the pleasures of dealing with HF propagation. :) |
