I gotta say, I'm fairly impressed...

Got a set of them from the 'zon shipped in 2 days for ~$50

They're brighter than my headlights, and ....holy crap...

I also ordered a '120W led lightbar', that's essentially a 22" long version of the smaller ones I got... I'm thinking I should've just gotten another pair of these..... these suckers are bright, and the pics don't do them justice...

Here's a SBS off/on demo.

Before this degrades into the usual Weenie bashing (HAHAHAHAHA), I think I should point out that I think what John is trying to say is that he bought some Chinese knock-offs of these.

I'm actually interested in this, as I've been wanting one of the VISION LED bars for awhile- I used to have a couple of 150 watt KC's on my old rig, bright as hell but the car slowed down when you turned them on (I think I had asked JRW about this once?). One of my buddies has an 18-inch version on his Pathfinder, and it looks like the sun rising when he lights it up.

Anyhow, please provide a link to where they were purchased?

They use 3w emitters, not 5w or 10w emitters... But at 25$ a piece instead of $200 a pice, I'm OK with the reduced output. It still is bright as hell.

Even brighter, as I discovered this morning.

Still, I may try out your Chinese lights before I drop a ton of cash. Post up when you get the 22" bar done?

Thanks again.

Yup. Those are the best, IMO, and use 10W emitters.

The china bars use 3w emitters, but a fraction of the price.

You get what you pay for.

No beam shots yet...

Gotta get one for my M1010 now though... (the one in the back)...All the light on that rig is coming from the small 6 LED units on the far edges of my roof, to the rear..... That's it.... 2 - $25 lights.... and they were far brighter and more widespread than my camera shows.

It was the car you drove. You can't ask a whole lot from a subaru turd.

Yes, because sarcasm is a direct indicator of vehicular performance. Were that true, Tim would be hosed.
