If you read the documents the first link provides it details his issues.

My thoughts are that this statement "Traffic enforcement on public highways cannot be construed as undercover work." is wrong.

The State Patrol has labeled these cars as Aggressive Driving Apprehension Team (ADAT) vehicles for the purpose of locating aggressive drivers. A very specific purpose.

Plus there has been enough media attention so that most should know they are out there.

Speeding with your seatbelt off just to get pulled over and lecture the cop on the side of the freeway? This guy's a fricking rocket surgeon. I hope he has his camera on when some texting 16 y/o girl cuts him off and he ends up ejected in the ensuing crash.

Unmarked cars, after working on them for so long, I can spot them from way far out.

Now, UC cars are different. :D

I'm having trouble with the marked ones. That WSP Impala with that tiny lightbar is impossible to see even if it's just two cars in front of you!

If you go fast enough Mark, you will have no trouble at all seeing that tiny light bar!

Not fast...passing. Passed the County Sheriff one morning on Airport Rd many years ago. I made him one short lecture late for work.

After 2000? Then I would have put that car together. (if were talking about the same county).

And probably would have been a sergeant if too many years ago.
