Is there an expert on these systems around that I could break bread with and learn from? I'm soon headed to a place where that seems to be the rule, and wanna try my hand at tracking them.

PM me, thanks.

So, using Trunkview netted me a LOT of data, but no real clues where to go with it from here:

Start mapping channel numbers to frequencies.

This thread made me curious if we had any MPT1327 systems in the Olympia area. I'm hearing a control channel on 217.7425 PL:110.9. Trunkview is showing an ID of:51C1, with an adjacent site ID:5231 CH:074. The FCC license search didn't show anyone licensed on any of these frequencies. What setting are you using under "filters?" I'm still relatively new with this software. Setting it to "Show all Messages" makes it so there's too much data. "Show Minimal Messages" shows nothing, and "Set2" only shows "Vote now advice."

EDIT: Also, frequency 217.8425 PL110.9 ID:5119 is showing adjacent sites of:
ID:51A9 CH179
ID:51B1 CH173
ID:51D1 CH142
ID:5231 CH074 (Same as above)

So:
217.7425=ID:51C1
217.8425=ID:5119
217.5675=ID:5169

I'd bet that is PSE.

Interesting. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this. The system seems pretty dead so far but I've only had it running for about 2 hours. I'll continue to let it run and report back with anything I find.

I'll scan that range later today and see if I can pick up anything. I would imagine their new system is in testing...

If so then, exciting! I love mapping new systems, and this is even a new protocol (to me). I just got unitrunker running along side trunkview. Still nothing so far but we will see. I'll keep it running 24/7 through next week at least.
