It looks like that box has a sticker on it that says "THE DEPARTMENT OF WATER" so I would guess it is water telemetry. Or sewer. Location is just north of the border at Point Roberts. Am I close MW ? :D |

If you look at the map that antenna is located about 5 or 10 feet north of the border. It is on the Canadian side. |

chpalmer wrote: So am I most of the time but my wife still thinks she's the boss... Proving the point that one may be "on top" either literally, or figuratively. For example, "So am I most of the time" would be literal. Whereas "but my wife still thinks she is the boss" is figurative. Either way, she wins. They always do... |

Quote: Either way, she wins. And that would be why we're going on 20 years this month... Quote: TX Frequency: 932.18125 MHz RX Frequency: 941.18125 MHz Interesting split... Wonder if they have any issues around paging transmitters? |

Since the Google Car photo resolution is too low I wondered what that nice US CBP sign said "...at English Bluff Road, Delta facing Marine Drive, Point Roberts" http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b7/Warning_sign_at_Point_Roberts.jpg Now, to see the sign facing Canada... which is probably the same. Also, I like the tower at the opposite end of the island on the border. A lookout / sighting tower? |

Its the standard "IF YOU ARE ENTERING THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WITHOUT NOTIFICATION TO A CUSTOMS AND IMMIGRATION OFFICER, YOU ARE SUBJECT TO ARREST AND DEPORTATION" |
