Is there an expert on these systems around that I could break bread with and learn from? I'm soon headed to a place where that seems to be the rule, and wanna try my hand at tracking them. PM me, thanks. |

So, using Trunkview netted me a LOT of data, but no real clues where to go with it from here: Quote: 13:12:11 ******* TrunkView :: MPT1327 Protocol Decoder ------ Saturday 2012-12-15 ******** ID: 4101 | Unregistered | Cch Frequency: 451.21250 MHz ***************************************************************************************** 13:12:22 - CCSC | Control Channel System Codeword| SYS Id: 4101 13:12:22 - ALH | General single codeword | (000) Id: 0 Wt: 6 Rsvd: 0 M: 0 N: 0 13:12:22 - CCSC | Control Channel System Codeword| SYS Id: 4101 13:12:22 - BCAST| Registration parameters | SYS: 4101 Spare: 0x1000 13:12:22 - CCSC | Control Channel System Codeword| SYS Id: 4101 13:12:22 - ALH | General single codeword | (000) Id: 0 Wt: 6 Rsvd: 0 M: 0 N: 0 13:12:22 - CCSC | Control Channel System Codeword| SYS Id: 4101 13:12:22 - BCAST| Call maintenance parameters | SYS: 4101 Per: No Ival: 0 Pon: No 13:12:22 - CCSC | Control Channel System Codeword| SYS Id: 4101 13:12:22 - ALH | General single codeword | (000) Id: 0 Wt: 6 Rsvd: 0 M: 0 N: 10 13:12:22 - CCSC | Control Channel System Codeword| SYS Id: 4101 13:12:22 - BCAST| Registration parameters | SYS: 4101 Spare: 0x1000 13:12:22 - CCSC | Control Channel System Codeword| SYS Id: 4101 13:12:22 - ALH | General single codeword | (000) Id: 0 Wt: 6 Rsvd: 0 M: 0 N: 0 13:12:22 - CCSC | Control Channel System Codeword| SYS Id: 4101 13:12:23 - BCAST| Call maintenance parameters | SYS: 4101 Per: No Ival: 0 Pon: No -----snip----- 13:14:49 - AHYC | Short data invitation message | (002) Org: 643 Tar: Short data message ident Slots: 3 Desc: 4 -----snip----- Voice channels used: Ch: 078 000.00000 MHz Ch: 115 000.00000 MHz Data channels used: -- Adjacent sites: ID: 4091 Ch: 211 ID: 40F1 Ch: 010 ID: 4221 Ch: 076 ID: 4231 Ch: 027 ID: 4239 Ch: 011 Announced control channels: -- Withdrawn control channels: -- Neighbour channels: -- Idents logged: (002) 643 (002) 652 (002) 653 (002) 668 (002) 729 (002) 798 (002) 6100 8185 8188 8189 Idents registered: (002) 652 (002) 653 (002) 668 Registrations failed: -- Voice targets called: (002) 6100: 3 times (002) 729 called: "(002) 6100" (002) 798 called: "(002) 6100" So now what? |

This thread made me curious if we had any MPT1327 systems in the Olympia area. I'm hearing a control channel on 217.7425 PL:110.9. Trunkview is showing an ID of:51C1, with an adjacent site ID:5231 CH:074. The FCC license search didn't show anyone licensed on any of these frequencies. What setting are you using under "filters?" I'm still relatively new with this software. Setting it to "Show all Messages" makes it so there's too much data. "Show Minimal Messages" shows nothing, and "Set2" only shows "Vote now advice." EDIT: Also, frequency 217.8425 PL110.9 ID:5119 is showing adjacent sites of: ID:51A9 CH179 ID:51B1 CH173 ID:51D1 CH142 ID:5231 CH074 (Same as above) So: 217.7425=ID:51C1 217.8425=ID:5119 217.5675=ID:5169 |

I'd bet that is PSE. |

I'll scan that range later today and see if I can pick up anything. I would imagine their new system is in testing... |

I love mapping new systems, and this is even a new protocol (to me). I just got unitrunker running along side trunkview. Still nothing so far but we will see. I'll keep it running 24/7 through next week at least. |
