I once played a video game where you ran around and shot things. It bored me, so I went to the shoot house and ran around shooting things. It was way better.

Actually, I run this in the background sometimes.

In the 80's, the arcade was my second home. I'm just about finished with a MAME project that I've been working on for a while. It's a heavily modified Capcom "big blue" upright, two player machine. I trashed the CRT and replaced it with a 27" flat panel. Updated all controls, and added a track ball along with a spinner. 6000 roms later, she works like a charm.

Our home theater PC has virtually every old school console, emulated. I've painstakingly been collecting the original controllers over the years, and modding them for USB connectivity.

We also use the three major consoles, that are all modded (legal backups of course). Other than a rare game of Mario Kart, I never play them. These new fangled gaming devices are strictly for our nieces and nephews.

Next project, a Virtual Pinball / Hyperpin setup in a wide body cabinet.

I've wanted to build a table top MAME cabinet. Mmm....the controls covered in Pizza grease :)

Will let's see I have most of the game systems. Even the old ones. And lately have been playing at Dorkys in Tacoma, WA.

I haven't been to Dorky's yet.... seriously, who in the hell wants to visit Tacoma ;) Use to go to Shorty's all the time for $1 PBR, err, pinball. If you haven't been there, the Pinball Museum in Chinatown is awesome. If your interested, I have a new in box (unopened) Vectrex system that I'd be willing to trade for the right radio. You'd be very hard pressed to find another one, anywhere.
