So, I have a small bin on my desk containg about 24 'AA' batteries and 8 'AAA' batts. I'm looking for a simpler way to organize them; i.e. right now if the bin gets moved, contacts touch each other and I don't want that. Suggestions? Looking for something that won't take up a lot of space (I don't have much). |

Next time you're at a sporting goods store, get a plastic cartridge holder - the ones with a hundred holes to put individual batteries standing vertically. |

You know, I actually tried that with an empty plastic shell carrier from the gun safe...I may have to hit up a store that sells reloading supplies. Thanks for the tip. |

I want to say the Graninger catalog has one of these organizers still...or perhaps it was the old Lab Safety Supply catalog... |

Got it today. So far, so good. The batteries are held tightly enough that casual abuse seems unable to dislodge them. There are little 'tab' sort of things that you pry slightly away from the body of the holder to remove the battery. Overall, the case seem rather rugged, as though it will stand up to a lot of abuse. ![]() ![]() And it fits perfectly in the tiny Pelican case I won a few days ago: ![]() |

Slap a .410 in there, see if it fits. |
