Anyone with experience?

09 Ranger XLT extended cab.

From what I gather, most Ranger XLT body styles over the years are the same?

I'm trying to avoid contact with the roof brace(s).

Looks like quite a chore to dissassemble the roof liner inside.

Sooo, I thought I'd ask first.

2 holes, centered from front to back, spaced about 18-24".

1 for 18" VHF and the other for 800mhz center loaded.

Pictures?

Thank you.

Hey MTM, it's been a long time...

Get up there and put some weight down on the areas your considering. Then look between the headliner and the roof with a light to verify. You have to get in there to run the cables anyways so should get you some viewing space.

We do many of these trucks for counties each year without ever pulling a headliner but Ive never measured...

If theres a brace you should be able to feel it. You can usually pull the dome light for some viewing area also...
