I heard glocks jam. Any validity to that claim?

I haven't heard anyone complain of a Glock 27 jamming. You can make most any long-slide 9 (including a Glock) stovepipe by using cheap low grain ammo, but a short .40 with good ammo shouldn't be a problem.

I like the Glock, and haven't had any jam problems. Also know a couple sheriff's deputies that also carry the glock.

I purchased a Taurus Judge 2 weeks ago. Put about 50 rounds through it so far. I like it. Not very accurate at a distance of more than 40 ft but if someone breaks into your house or trys some crap up close this will make em hurt.

I'm going to be filing for a cwp as soon as I have a spare minute during normal buisness hours. Right now it spens its day locked in the safe and its night in my nightstand

Here is what I use for personal defense. Got the idea from another member on here. Only difference is that I needed some real stopping power. Besides, Desert Eagles are for sissys. Legally its a pistol. Haven't had any problem with law enforcement in open-carry states. The only time I've been stopped is when they've asked where they can get one.

If it says pistol, it must be a pistol.

OWEN, I saw those lasers online. Worth it? Too bad they cost almost as much as the gun...

For me yes well Worth the cost it flashes on and off very fast and your eye moves to it very fast, a lot of police Dept's use it for training only, like you said you could get two hand guns for what this and a hand gun cost. but being that I am almost 50 it works great for me.

I usually go to Hammer's. It is just 2 blocks from the house. Also picked up this piece from Hammer's.

The folder on the background was made especially for the pic. Kind of a "gag" for another forum.

as for the glock jam issue, I have only seen the glock jam when you hold it like a girl, seriously the XYL is the only person I have ever seen a glock jam on then I had her shoot and watched her very close, 2/3 times she would jam the gun. she was limp wrist-ing it (allowing the gun to use her body as a full recoil) once I taught her to not let the gun to show her who was boss she never had that problem again, I have personally put more then 10k rounds thru my glocks cheap, reload, crappy, old, rounds and never had anything but duds here and there never a jam..
