but has anyone else ever checked out "Davis Monthan AFB" on Google Earth?

A search on the term in quotes takes you right there. I have always heard of the "Aircraft Boneyard".

I had no idea.
And the detail is quite good from the sats.

If only you were able to get close and explore the planes. Boeing has their own mini airplane graveyard. maps.live.com

This reminds me of this site about abandoned airfields.
