Used this yesterday near Toutle, WA. In a place that previously had no cell coverage, both my phone (Verizon), and the wife's phone (T-Mobile), were showing 1-3 bars of signal. Her phone, however, showed no data coverage.

I don't understand why some of the web reviews state it doesn't work for outgoing calls. I made 3-4 calls from a previously uncovered area through the Cellranger, they never dropped or sounded bad at all. I received one call, again, no problems.

Today in the foothills outside of Wilkeson, the CR once again proved it's worth. I was in a spot around 3300' MSL, with one big hill between me and the 3 Sisters cell site. Turned the phone on, and nothing. Debug screen showed me at -105db, and every call failed.

Cranked up the car with the CR plugged in, 45 seconds later I had 3 indicator bars and -75db signal, and was getting bitched out by the wife via voicemail...

Maybe I'll toss it
