Late deer season tomorrow (actually, 11/18-21, but I only have tomorrow), after an early morning qualification shoot.

Pics to follow (I hope!).

No pics, no deer.

I had to hike about 2 miles off the road, then basically parallel it for a mile to see any tracks. Never saw any animals at all, just pisspots of road hunters driving back and forth endlessly on 7720.

Driving out, it was so bad I thought about starting a valet parking service. I've been up there on days when I know (non-broken puddle ice on the roads) I was the only person there. At one point coming back, while still 5-7 miles from the blacktop, I was behind 3 trucks, ahead of 4 trucks and a Honda Civic (?), and passed about 15 more.

My son just came in the office and said "I know what I want for Christmas."

"What, to go to bed on time?" (I was feeling pretty proud of a parental-sounding answer)

"No, an F-150 and a 30.06"

:chaingun:

The kid has good taste in music.

And lastly, got a call a few hours ago from a work buddy. A person I was working my butt off surveilling for the last few weeks of October was apparently charged late last week for all sorts of good stuff, AND the State is now suing them as well. Image

I hear that my work clinched at least the civil portion of it. Time to dig out my "court suit".

I'm stoked.

-Payday
-Decent dinner
-Nearly punched a guy at the mall
-Wife is out tonight

Ahhh....Time to unwind.
