That's interesting.

Of course the first thought that comes to mind is one question on my Tech test that asked (something like) "What frequency range is considered MOST HARMFUL to human beings."

The answer, of course, is 30MHz - 300MHz
And this antenna is designed for 30MHz - 88MHz
Of course limiting TX power will help.
I think conventional wisdom considers something around 5-7 watts of VHF to be "safe".

On the other hand, I wonder how well the radio is going to radiate at that freq range with an antenna up against the body.

There is a guy that goes to Dayton every year with an NMO mount + antenna on a hard hat. Functional, of course.
