Valley Regional will be hosting a open house this Saturday at their new fire station 33 in Lakeland Hills. I will be there. Anyone else coming?

They must've renumbered stations, because their site shows 33 being right by the Safeway mega warehouses, and I don't think there's a station there.

Edit: looking at the homepage I see it's at 500 182nd Ave E which is up at Tapps.

Yeah they are renumbering the fire stations
Station 31 is in North Auburn
Station 32 is in South Auburn
Station 33 used to be a response station inside the GSA Complex on C St.
Station 33 is now the new station which will be serving Lakeland Hills. It will also provide as the main backup station for Stations 32 and 38.
Station 34 is in Lea Hill and is former King County Fire District #44 Station 91
Station 35 is old response Station 33 and is now the training facility for Valley Regional
Station 38 is in Pacific

Fire Station 33 is kind of in the Lake Tapps area. Go up Lake Tapps Parkway. Go straight at the light by Top Foods. At the next light stay to the left. At the next light take a left on 182nd. Fire Station is on the left.

What are the hours of the open house as I'll be up in the Northgate area until noon?

Engine 34 should be shown as the primary engine at station 34. The last time I checked there wasn't an aid 38 any longer.

Just checking again. Anyone here planning on attending the Valley Regional open house? I know I am going to be there.

Went to the open house today. Confirmed that Engine 33 will be the staffed unit. Engine 331 will be reserve engine. Dive 33 was moved from 38 to 33. Already updated the database. When Ladder truck arrives in 2010 it will be housed at 31 since it is the only station with a bay that is long enough.

An addition to the equipment list above. I drove by station 34 this weekend and engine 34 is there as well as engine 341. Rumor has it that station 34 may be considered for relocation due to problems exiting the station with the rig(s) in heavy traffic.

They will be relocating Station 34 to an area south of its current location.
