If you are trying to do a LIBRARY UPDATE there is a bug that Whistler knows about.

When trying to do an update it shows "Socket error #10060".

The current version of the library is 879.

I called Whistler support and they are working on the problem but have no time when it will be corrected.

That library draws its information from the RR database, so you get ALL of the inaccuracies for free.

At least you know your scanner , your cable and the program are OK and the problem is coming from the internet side.

Just go to the EZ-Scan menu and push the current time/date to the radio to verify that. Anything is better than that "database".
