I have the Motorola unit. It works well, but I don't use it much. It's just a bit on the large side to be driving around with (if you're trying to be the least bit stealthy.) https://www.magnumelectronics.com/shop/ ... 1653#attr= |

I have that Browning antenna, Jim. Mine doesn't have the loading coil in the whip, but it advertised the same specs of frequency coverage. It's similar to the Laird multi band that looks like that one. - Chris |

I've had really bad luck with Browning gear, although that was decades ago. Among other clichés, once bitten, twice shy. Hopefully they've stepped up their game. Best of luck. -Marcus |

The NMO cable had become frayed due to installer error and had to be snipped, spliced and soldered, this time with more than 1/8 inch of slack left in it. |
