While this may seem like an unusual post, there is a specific reason for it.
A couple of years back I had once stumbled upon a question that has bugged me, since the upcoming anniversary of the september 11th attacks, and with my obsession with the pagers, and the way they sound, is there any pager messages that are listed anywhere on the interwebs...?
Turns out the answer checked out and wikileaks has an article of 443000+ messages (including a separated list of indexes, 288 to be exact), of all the pager messages that were intercepted from 03:00 to 03:00 9/12. And since I have also stumbled upon SoRFMon's encoding capabilities with their POCSAG tool, and with further developed IQ plugins and the VB audio cable stuff, I thought, "well, why not start an audacity project". This project I had decided to commit my whole lifetime on, as this project is going to end up encoding all the pager messages in chronological order as POCSAG encoded messages, separated by address, function, message type, message, bit speed, etc. My D Drive was specifically allocated for this exact reason as a storage drive, (1.81TB total), so this way it can store this very big project. Why is it going to take a long time? Well, these files are concatenated every 24 indexes, and some of them are well over 5,000KB long. The encoder is going to end up appending several messages into single addresses, this way there is no problem with it. Some of the data in these indexes is quite shocking and extremely unusual. And yes, people do panic in these messages. So, once this "project" is released onto the web (where I dont know, but not on social media), there will be nothing but POCSAG signals for each mp3 file. The IQ's will also be there as well. This is actually a restart, because the previous revision was not formatted right and I didnt know the tool I used to encode such could encode longer messages per line...(there is a limit of I think 512 chars or something?) But this has been an ongoing goal of mine that I wanted to announce here, specifically...So If you looked at the topic: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=9721, this is exactly what im going to do.
