Steve’s time here was too brief, his kind spirit and hard work will never be forgotten, God speed my friend!

Nice guy, I met him during one of the intercept meet ups probably 10 years ago and he gave me a complete surplus GE MSTR II w remote head that was custom made for the WSP back in the day, as his storage unit had several.

Steve was always willing to help out and contribute to the radio community, a rare gentleman. Condolences to the family... R.I.P.

Sad and surprising news. Steve was active in the radio community and known for his expertise and willingness to help others (not to mention his volunteer work). He will be missed and remembered well.

I met Steve in 1991 when I first licensed as a ham. Steve was working at Amateur Radio Supply in Georgetown. Over the years he was one of those folks I really enjoyed encountering wherever we saw each other.

RIP

I echo all the kind words about Steve. I always felt we were in good hands when he signed off a on-air dispatching shift for Seattle. May his memory be a blessing...
