A most interesting thread. Virginia Beach police encryption. https://news.yahoo.com/virginia-beach-r ... rom_auth=1 I for one believe that some stuff should be encrypted but I think total encryption inspires lack of trust of the police. Not that there isn't a lack of trust these days, but as a ham operator and scanner user, if I see police in my neighborhood, I do want to know what's going on. |
